Well, I suppose even Chicken Little only has to be right once for the sky to be falling. I just read Bill Simmon's article on Shaq, and he agrees with me that this is a good deal for the Suns. Hard to believe me and any ridiculously zealous New England Patriot fan would agree on anything, but I guess the Big Diesel is the wearer on the unification belt.
Notre Dame suffered a tough loss in that game against UCONN I'd been mentioning lately. Luke Harangody was a destroyer of worlds with 32 points and 16 rebounds, but Kyle McAlrney got held to a weak shooting night, and we lost a close game that the Irish led by 6 points or so for a majority of. While I wish we had won, both teams played actually at a pretty high level, and since the Irish ended up splitting the season series with UCONN with each team winning at home, not all bad.
On a completely off the wall, super late, note....I am astounded Will Smith got absolutely no love for his acting in I am Legend. I thought he was awesome, and thought the movie was really really good. Yeah, I've read the "book", and I agree it deviated from the book. So what!?! I thought the book was ok, it killed 2 hours of commuting. The movie was flat out awesome, probably the best movie I have seen in the theatres since the LotR movies came out. Kind of scary though...just saying. On a related note to that....The vampire/ghould/zombies in I am Legend are NOT special effects, even though most people think they are. They are actually just Indianapolis Colts Defensive Player of the Year...Bob Sanders!! Great way to describe Bob Sanders....an Undead Demon!!
